How To Measure

Use a flexible measuring tape (cloth or soft plastic).

Place the tape just above the eyebrows, across the mid-forehead and run it around the widest part of the head — above the ears and around the back bump (occipital bone) at the back of the skull.

Keep the tape snug but not tight (shouldn’t press into the skin).

For children, allow a little finger space between the tape and head.
