The urge to protect our Mother is embedded in our very soul. Mother Earth is sacred, loved, protected, a giver of life and a platform for many as a form of serene escapism and spirituality. We need to adapt to a new era of how we care for our planet and start our endless fight to keep and protect our children’s future.

GREAT BARRIER REEF

The magical yet fragile underwater marvel of the Great Barrier Reef was at the core of our Reef Collection. A magnificent and colourful muse, it was a unique one to study for printspiration; she’s a vibrant marvel.

She was once a technicoloured rainbow that covered the delicate bodies of coral, with schools of fish that swam through with their armour of magnificent colour. In recent years, the reef has endured two significant coral bleaching events starving this hyperreal marvel of its colour, life and beauty.

With increasing global temperatures on the rise; future bleaching is inevitable – but there are a myriad of small steps we can take together to save what’s left of our reef. We have committed and donated $20,000 to the reef conservation and research charity Citizens of GBR.

BUSHFIRES

For months, our home was burning. Our biggest muse, our beloved playground. Loss of land, loss of homes, loss of life. This incredibly sad time for our country did not end when the last fire went out – the scar left on our nation will last a lifetime.

We bore witness to irreversible damage to our lands and climate, and injured wildlife. As a nation we grieved for the lives lost and extended our deepest gratitude for our fire fighters and support teams who risked their own to protect others and our land.

To see our beautiful home catastrophically destroyed is a pain we never wish to feel again. We pledged and donated $50,000 to eight different charities that supported and defended our home yesterday, today and every other day.

THE DAINTREE RAINFOREST
Nestled two hours north of Cairns in Far North Queensland lies a magnificently infinite lush green jewel. Her name is the Daintree Rainforest and she is over 180 million years young, making her the oldest of her kind on planet earth and has been home to First Nation owners for over 60,000 years.

In the Daintree, everything is connected. Every drop of water, every plant form, every insect, reptile and bird – each rely upon the unique microclimate that has made this rainforest the last remaining of its type. It is also home to one of the most diverse sources of primitive, rare and endangered species – and therefore is an immensely important piece of international conversation.

With impending eco-disruptive land development in the Daintree’s lowland rainforests and devastating effects from global warming causing harm to its unique microclimate, flora and fauna – this sacred historical sanctum for the Aboriginal community and green World Heritage Listed jewel needs our help.

You can help save Australia’s colour by donating to organisations that aim to buy back land to prevent land development in order to preserve the land and climate, spread awareness in your community and engage with sustainable and prosperous eco- tourism providers who contribute to the management and protection of the rainforest.
